Many Biblical scholars, modern day's prophets and those who are having
dreams/and or visions--seem to have one common thread.  Referring backwards
into ancient Biblical Old Testament times mentioned in the book of Genesis. It is
in Genesis 7:11-12 that God used Moses to record the actual great world wide
flood.  In Genesis 6:9-17 God explains His covenant with Noah to never again
to destroy the word through a world wide global flood.

Notice God never promised that He would not use water as His cleansing 
harbinger's agents of rapidly approaching up coming judgments.  Noteworthy,
in several local catastrophic Tsunami's and flood waters.  In the last days, God 
does mention, men's hearts failing because of fear.  

God is currently mixing and matching things up: large hail stones, massive 
snow falls, high rushing destructive waves, flood waters, tsunami's, tornadoes
and earth quakes etc.

There is often highly destructive massive loss of property.  Involving,  also 
unfortunately, the loss of human lives.  However, it's  God's merciful good
ness, He's been minimizing the loss of human life! 
 
God also uses the Bible to describe men's hearts failing because of fear; to 
also describe signs in the heavens of things to soon come to pass upon the
face of the earth itself: 

 The recent blood moons, as well as both lunar and solar eclipses.  The
moon will turn to blood and the sun shall not give forth her light before 
that great and dreadful coming of the Lord.  He's not referring to the 
great catching away aka the rapture; He's referring to the day of the
second coming of Jesus Christ!

Noah and his sons were instructed to build a physical ark of safety, with
one window and one door.  On the day the flood began, God Himself
shut the door. 

 This modern ark of the new covenant, is not the world's first passenger/
animal cargo ship.  It is His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ!  He's the only
open door available to GOD the Father by His free gift of everlasting life.    

 Be all careful not to earn our sin's wages of everlasting death!

"Nor is there salvation in any other, for their is no other name under heaven
given among men (or women) by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12 

"I am the way, the truth and the life, no one  can come to the Father except
 through me." John 14:6

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourselves; It is
the grace of God, not of works least anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
