This is outspoken thoughts at the end of 2023. Some may find this to be negative, , even though it ends positive. Many may disagree and are welcome to ignore this. It is not meant to instigate problems of any kind. It is just my right to speak my mind. Thank you. It is long, so I understand lack of reading it for that reason too. I just want it on my page this year. The world has gone off the rails Transformation like never before Hypocrisy blows wicked with the wind Division is instigated by media and others Lies roll like punches to those with vision People who took extensive time to research Those who maintain common sense daily They stand their ground strongly anyway Lack of justice burns the flag, lawless actions Steam roll over our land, without accountability Public endangerment ensues without a blink Corruption rules with evidence to prove it Some may discount it, right before their eyes Gender issues become priority over safety War continues and we give money endlessly While homeless and veterans, are neglected The invasion continues at our open border But those addressing the risks are called racist Censorship happens, removing freedom of speech A human right that American citizens are losing False accusations are tossed around, left and right Brainwashing occurs with repetition through the news How nice it would be, to return to days with no television Social media or all the things controlling people So many distractions from this beautiful, natural, creation Sadly attacks on God are common as of part of life Historic statues are torn down while cities are burned Protestors allowed to lay in the streets, causing hazards Unity is lost, lawfulness is twisted or non existent The death of Americans does not seem to matter these days It's time to distance ourselves from this evil and share good There is no knowing the time we have left to live and love We must find peace in a world that spins like a tornado Dodge the wreckage, create safety, for our minds, hearts and souls So, someone has to say it; in a world in that speaking has become fear Fear of judgement, retaliation, attacks or even loss of connections Courage with faith is the way to survive, this kind of evil that spreads Do not be afraid, speak and never be silenced, never back down A new year is beginning, time granted to you, it is never too late To change reactions, gain perceptions and celebrate the best of life Heidi Sands 12/28/23 (C)opyright
