Do I go left or right?
Do I just think on a plight?
It’s a wonder
Through the darkness needing understanding
Embracing the tears through fear
When Can and Maybe preserver
The mind questions
The voice wants to respond
Tomorrow’s wisdom
Assurance suddenly arises
The spotlight doesn’t show the inner soul
Alone being the only threshold
Standing as an individual Poet
Enthused in spirit
Blessed merit
Not an easy chore
Learning being me to explore
Couldn’t ignore
Being sure of myself
Not words, but confidence with every ouch of courage
Strength within making me strong
It was my armor to put on
Ordeals being reality for real
Words are what a Poet says
Words are what a Poet confides
Sentences lead the way being an escort
Never ending, but always forgiving
The words are always everlasting
