Poem
For soon the rains of destiny will fall as innocence capitulates its soul. Aggression sealed your fears within a wall to let disease and hunger take their toll. Your rank-and-file dissolved into the night with nary whisper echoing their names, ‘tis mortal hate that nourishes the blight as ethnic cleansing fueled the growing flames. But as a flicker grew into a fire, his dominance was filched by forced decree. A thousand years would dare to be his spire though apathetic eyes refused to see. A timid world was sheepish in reply as clouds of war transformed their peaceful sky. As clouds of war transformed their peaceful sky the Bear and beast join forces in deceit. But loyalty and trust cannot rely upon a union built upon conceit, Beguiled collusion, acting in accord, let treachery instill the feral pack, such insolence must never be ignored for trust will put a knife in honor’s back. But such a union petrifies the world as Poland is the first to be devoured. And as we gazed, the masterplan unfurled; an underworld of evil was empowered. When iron and steel achieve a Fuhrer’s goal, the Gods of war shall reap their hellish toll. The Gods of war shall reap their hellish toll when vengeance fuels the fires of zealot rage. His promises of grandeur will extol as providence is shouted from the stage. ‘Twas merely scandal, ceding to Versailles, for battle-hardened soldiers won the day. And those to blame, his words shall vilify, and all who bleed in kindred blood shall pay. As propaganda fed each starving crowd, a fevered hate would seep into its mind. And promised hope was artfully avowed, for evil knows that innocence is blind. All rationale shall quickly lose control when anarchy consumes a barren soul. When anarchy consumes a barren soul. a new regime may rise from ‘neath the dearth, and lunacy will fill the vacant hole, as bigotry attempts to seed the earth. A demagogue had risen to the helm when parliament was ravaged by the thief, he thus, instilled an autocratic realm as all the world stood by in disbelief. But promises to rise above the blight imposed for warring failures of their past, was mere sensation, laced with bitter spite and such conceit is doomed to never last. When method lets morality devolve, humanity is destined to dissolve. Humanity is destined to dissolve as gluttony concedes to avarice. ‘Twas but a blunder pressing to absolve a giant fast asleep in paradise. And to the West, as continents divide, a blitzkrieg wipes your innocence away, The French and English rallied by your side with frail intent to keep the beast at bay. Though isolation stilled the hearts of all ‘twas but a foolish ploy to pacify, for soon the rains of destiny will fall as clouds of war transform their peaceful sky. The Gods of war shall reap their hellish toll when anarchy consumes a barren soul.
