LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY OVERCOMING POWER			

Lord God, You are my overcoming Power 
through Your love granting me repentance
Thank You for Your deeds of caring assistance…
Help me not yield to worldly enticements with my prayerful resistance
As I remain in Your Scriptures’ doctrine of steadfast stance.

Lord God, You are my overcoming Power 
through Your righteousness
Thank You for Your patience, graciousness and kindness…
Help me not faint in labouring for Your name’s gloriousness
As I stay in You, my first love, and enjoy Your presence-goodness.

Lord God, You are my overcoming Power 
through Your protection
Thank You for Your faithfulness during suffering and persecution…
Help me not quit midst hurts of desperation bringing frustration
As I abide in Your truth of sharp sword for my perfection.

Lord God, You are my overcoming Power 
through Your name’s majesty
Thank You for Your teachings’ certainty…
Help me not be deceived by humanistic principles in their pride’s tenacity
As I uphold Your precepts against errors and falsity.

Lord God, You are my overcoming Power 
through Your foundation’s might
Thank You for Your flame’s guidance and direction’s light…
Help me not neglect stewardship with service of charity delight
As I sacrifice for You with faith along supplication-flight.

Lord God, You are my overcoming Power 
through Your leadership
Thank You for Your peace and joy around Your partnership…
Help me not despise trials that strengthen pursuits of discipleship
As I seek Your favour in our fellowship toward vibrant worship.

Lord God, You are my overcoming Power 
through Your sovereign assurance
Thank You for Your security of shielding endurance…
Help me not doubt promises showing Your mighty deliverance
As I learn from Your Word that keeps me away from ignorance.
