Poem
Before daybreaks they walk hand in hand on the board walk speaking quietly and whispering something silently in the each other ears as the anxious morning pipers’ with itchy ears pressed desperately to decipher the conversation that they could not hear. Two desperate souls whose hearts are embedded in one spoke in a coded language that nobody could understand, at times you hear giggles and sometimes you hears sniffles as if water was coming out of the faucet and dripping in the kitchen sink but that quickly fades away before the break of day. They sit quietly on the beach and allow the waves to wash up their feet and waited patiently for the morning sun to rise before they take their early morning dive. The tranquil morning opens its eyes and stares directly into the flamboyant sky holding the tune for the astronauts that propose to parachute to the moon. It is that quiet moment in the morning when everything suddenly become still and you can hear the silent whisper and lips pressing against one another forcing the words out of their mouth and all of a sudden the tides get higher pitching more water on the shore. The voice of reason is embedded in the deep; the voice of reason has disrupted my sleep; it is that minute part of you that fashions the whole universe around you beckoning you to come when danger is on the run. For the onlookers it is like a game but it has driven many people insane .It is the rush of blood that runs through the vain filling the blood vessel with sorrows in the early morning. I watch them sitting hugging and reasoning with each other while the voice on the moon said that they are coming soon; as the day gets clearer and the mission gets closer a strange character entered the beach picking fight with the people he meet. Black jeeps with big wheels drove up on the beach and snatch two men from the other side and held them at gunpoint. They bound their hands and feet and throw them in the back of the jeep; screaming and shouting echoed from within and someone shouted the amazing grace hymn. The vans speed off the beach and disappeared in the open street at hundred and sixty six miles per hour before it reaches the roundabout. The voice of reason saturates the sun, and analyzes the evidence on the ground, and the jeep that is on run. It penetrates every living soul and filled up the empty vessel around the town, it enters the market place and spread out the cards on the table. The sun finally came out and lit up the beach and sends sparks of fire in the street, the board walk, and the morning whispers has brought them closer together and elevates them to the top; the voice of reason has calmed their soul and made their sprit bold; It is time for you to come home.
