December 16 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on 1John 1-3

Key Verse– 1John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY FELLOWSHIP’S AUTHOR			

Lord God, You are my fellowship’s Author, 
and also my Father of grace-bountifulness
Thank You for giving me fulness of wisdom against deceit’s darkness---
I repent from not staying in Your righteousness
Please forgive me of my sinfulness. 

Lord God, You are my fellowship’s Author, 
and also my Advocate for holiness’ determination
Thank You for standing for me in serving as my iniquity-propitiation---
I repent from not obeying Your commandment and instruction
Please help me abide in Your enlightening vision. 

Lord God, You are my fellowship’s Author, 
and also my Power along faith’s strengthening
Thank You for enabling me to overcome wickedness by Your straightening---
I repent from not appreciating Your care because of my worldly dining
Please let me submit to Your control for my behaviour-refining. 

Lord God, You are my fellowship’s Author, 
and also my Guide toward truth’s acknowledgment
Thank You for assuring me Your eternal life’s promise-fulfillment---
I repent from not clinging to Your teachings due to my shallow commitment
Please keep me in Your confidence-endearment. 

Lord God, You are my fellowship’s Author, 
and also my Source of bestowments’ blessings
Thank You for supplying me against dearth-oppressings---
I repent from not trusting Your love that leads to my transgressings
Please take me away from doubt-caused cursings. 

Lord God, You are my fellowship’s Author, 
and also my Protector against evil’s might
Thank You for hearing me of my prayer, plea, pain, and plight---
I repent from not following Your light when my pride reaches towering height
Please subdue me with Your compassion-delight. 

Lord God, You are my fellowship’s Author, 
and also my Victory despite condemnation’s fury
Thank You for upholding me upon Your triumphant territory---
I repent from not doing what is pleasing for Your glory
Please preserve me as I live, declaring Your Gospel story.
