Poem
"O Please don't be late and seal your fates O Please don't be late for this ole world's greatest escape cause you'll all be really sorry if you just happen to be left behind! Many of you all are former friends of mine You're all gonna be so very very very sorry You all neglected your salvation's' greatest redemption's' story and now it's much too late!" The pop group 'Sunday's Children' just finished singing their latest song and it was a rap. Meaning it was ready to be recorded and than released. Mandy, their new lead female singer, was a brand new believer in Jesus Christ. Formally, she belonged to an all female pop group 'It's Just My Destiny,' When Mandy became saved she dumped them and joined Sunday's Children. "It's just my destiny all I wanna do is be free! It's just my destiny all I wanna do is be me! And I am so very glad that I ain't a real live Loser like the most you are just gonna be. It's just my destiny all I wanna do is believe Only in me and I'm gonna be the very best Girl that I just can possibly be and I want All of you to just leave me alone on my own!" Most of their fans were blinded by their worldly suggestive beauty to pay attention to their narcissistic lyrics putting them all down while building themselves up higher and higher at their expenses. They wore painted faces, finger nails and toe nails and very scanty clothes that would make Los Vegas dancers blush for shame. Whereas, the Christian pop group, 'Sunday's Children,' dressed in the latest trends but they still dressed modestly by today's contemporary standards. The two all female pop groups would not ever appear in the same show or on the same stage. 'It's Just My Destiny' called 'Sunday's Children' Christian prudes but 'Sunday's Children' called their revival group 'nothing but a bunch of hookers.' One time a booking agent thought it would be 'very radical' if he placed the two enemy groups on the same program and even on the same stage. But neither group showed up and he had to refund all of his promotional money back to his depositors. Reginald Ringer learned his life's lessons the hard way from the school of hard knocks. 'O The precious blood of the Lamb of God covers all of me and by the precious blood of the Lamb of God I've been set free from all of my shames and my inequities." Sunday's Children were rehearsing their latest song when their session just ended on time. Roxanne Lea Dubarry Roxy Lea 1954/October Country November 29, 2023
