Poem

Hi  everyone. I am not back fully yet. I posted a blog post update. But tonight, I did write a poem after a month of not writing and decided to post it. I hope you are all well. Your prayers have  helped me tremendously. 

Thank you for this pretty sight, in the middle of the night
As I watch the snow fall, beneath the glowing streetlight
I  thank you for all I have been granted, all moments of serenity,
Bringing me on this long path, to impeccable truth and clarity
All  I've ever wanted is to be heard and understood;  in winds of passing days
Trauma, turmoil, challenges, God helped me in so many ways
I could not have gained the valuable wisdom or done it all alone
He led me through times of darkness, where the sun has shone
I am only me,; one person, one life, so many things in one story
But, he reached me since I was a child, with remarkable glory
I am gracious through all times, whether good or bad
I  can even be thankful, for the tears when I am sad
I  pray to complete my purpose, according to his will
Because all my life, that is what I had the drive to fulfill
So here I am tonight, watching snowfall in the silence...
A minute with each flake; not a single moral melted, no belief will I forsake
