Poem

Sometimes I sit down and think what it would be like
If life gave me an easier test
Maybe I'd have sat through it all
Without complaining as I've been doing 

Because I'm here doing my hard test
The unending test cause everyday there's something new
While they're questions I'm already having a hard time
Getting answers to so I'm scribbling down 

Sometimes I feel like maybe my test is endless
Like I was meant to be stuck over and over
As I try to figure out my test
For as I look around it just feels I'm in the wrong place 

Cause some have sat in the same class
Did their tests and walked out earlier
While I'm here stuck on the first page
Unable to turn to a new page 

Sometimes I sit down and wonder what it would  be like
If life never gave me a test at all
I'd live out my days picking up tests
Chosing my battles instead of them being chosen for me 

For I've been doing this test for a while now
And I've done it well so far
But I feel I've been going around it all the way wrong
Cause I'm doing it alone and maybe that's not how it's supposed to be 

So I'm here writing poems hoping for Rabii
To come down and help me sit through this test
Cause I'm  not sure how long I can remain doing this test
All alone cause I'm not making progress and the years are going
