Is it strange the things I say here
and how I just use this place to clear my brain.
Im not really trying I dot prethink what I say
I notice some of those things are pretty lame.

If you happen to ever read themAnd you kind of think the same.

I know you still understand what im saying. 
so if you want to be pretentious just go ahead and take the blame

Your not telling me things I dont know 
I excelled at writing in all levels of schooling
and had I made the choice Harvard used their Voice
and said hey why dont you school here we will even pay the way
but I said no I felt to old and for me just having that letter was enough said

But i know my stuff can seem crazy
i am just trying to brain vent
please dont take things to seriously
and see life as a spectacle and not an event

there a lot of beuty out here
you can take the time to see it 
all you got to do is let go of all the daily drag
put down the bags and get silly
remember being a kid

dance in the rain ignore the pain so you can go out and play
this life belongs to you and not the rest of them
so have a story that you write dont be the character 
written about dont be narrated be live action come on lets get it in

If you dont know how to do this
Maybe you were sheltered or dont want to offend
dont stress their are people who know amd will be glad to show
you just look around the room
see anyone 40 plus and go talk to them

Say hey man its time we finaly get why this kind of crap cant fly
we understand you now can you show us how to put wings on the bird and let it fly
just give it a minute for them to process watch the glimmer in their eye
then see them stand birds flying in both their hands 
follow their lead and dont ask why

Later on as your drinking
with the sinsay of f around and find out wondering whats next
you look over and say how without a thought they kill a flaming shot
look over at you and say we knew this day would come
we are Generation X and the should be all they have to say
we saw more change then anyone before us they didnt know what skills to teach
so we just been out here winging it waiting for the rest of yall to finally see the dream

Now your here so quit beinn square hits time for a few more drinks
bartender where are those flaming dr peppers or those irish car bombs
