Poem
Bold as the lie that says – Authenticity isn’t blessed by the truth, Who exists in reasoning, thinking… Outside the box, beyond the echo of light, Despite the shadows and silhouettes of night… Thinking, like the reflection of a heart Is not just that, a clear sample of what lives, Just beneath the fluttering expressions Yesterday’s memories stirring up discerning, Ideas and prayers, promises who will not fade, Because tomorrow is even more blessed Than today, and hope lives in the hearts of those Who listen to the truth, the thoughts, the ideas, Accompanied by hesitant smiles and moments – Who reflect the meaning of a spirit’s light! Truth, like a prayer, erasing the silence, Feeding the familiar and smiling into the forever, Beyond the mountain ridges, at depths far greater than The ancient seas… this is truth that rises on the silence, Brings pieces of light and inklings that pierce the night, Swallowing up doubts and praying that life becomes More like the wind than the sand that gets blown into the void,… A wind that tumbles and dances and sways with the honest, The genuineness so alive that not one lie Can persuade the heart to bleed out its charade, Instead, the sham of yesterday is ended on the edges, Rims of loose fitting thoughts who beckon to the spirit Inspiring and healing, reminding us all that the truth is… Alive in the knowledge, the knowing that forever never dies, Just like the light who is stilling the darkness, Silencing the ghosts of fear and the ache of tears, Gentling the spirit who tries to conceal their flustered feelings, Beneath the tones of autumn truth, where verity Instills a sureness that abides in the collection of moments, Smiles and insights – truth arises in the miracle of a life, A life inspired by the need to know what lives inside, A need to know the heart and soul, the forever that comes to those… Who just believe the truth will be seen… in the fading scenes,… Spring, summer, autumn, winter, seasons – some bitter, But still so needed by those who accept their sporadic sustenance, Their sincere nourishment of all that brings hope to those… Who just allow themselves to feel the beauty of each sweet season. Truth lies in promise that proves truth never lies. It is the surety of music, the breath in the winter, the peace in those Who remember to just pray and hope – just pray and hope… Hear the heady truth in His tender whisper – love that never dies!
