Poem
To be born to be, And who all we are, Some of us are near Some of us are far. Skins coloured, for reasons unknown Why were we chosen, to live in these homes Different cultures in different places Different shapes and different faces. As from time began, as to as we are now Are we a why, why are we a how To get here, origins unknown Why we are here, our Scientist's have shown. What makes it true, as they determine our being Are we all blind, and its something their seeing Are they truthful to fact, as they tell their story All of them bluffing, maybe one has the glory. What do we believe, is it everything we hear If we do, should we live in fear To be told our story, from educated people Would i see our past and future, standing proud on a steeple. There's Lucy in Africa, Pygmies in Guinea Abo's in Aus, in fact there are many We have cultured this world, is it right is it wrong Are we all in harmony, singing this human song. We can stand and stare, even look above Are we on this earth, like hands in a glove Do we fit, or are we a temporary race Are we even rightly here, to live in this place. As the Scientists say, there is water on Mars Vapour Trails, all across the stars Milky Way, is it all that it seems Are the Rocket trails, invisible beams. Satellites are sent to places unknown How do we know, they are already home An answer we need from a being out there As they land on this Earth, would we just stand and stare. On the fields and lawns, as they land their crafts Was it our requests, in our missions we asked And is their return, appearing hear Its not that their far, in fact their so near. Its my belief they never left Only the drawings, leaving a human test Are we obliging, obliging humans are we Why take generations for us to see. Forever looking at our media world All our lives in an ever ending twirl There must be a reason, as to why were all here Surely not templates, the future i fear. As we look at the past, as our world has grown Have we learnt, or is it is as shown What is the ultimate, is there an ending Is Earth very close, to its ultimate descending. The best place to look, is from this lighthouse and see We can look 360, all you and me Through many eyes, and many thoughts How many of us, have the scientists bought. Until tomorrow, i can answer no more With more questions, i will know the score But, before we were here. They were here before.
