Poem
As I take my poetic pencil to describe, birth, death , earth and life. I see a young Jason coming, screaming Loud, loudly in the presence of those nursing As the darkness walks away and the bright sun shines the way. Society and family clap their hands As they receive a fabulous creature Kind-hearted son is alive, Parents, nurses, church leaders and believers, govermental officials and neighbours smile. Oh! Life Nevel was born. He learned to be bon. family and community did not abandon Jason He lived lovely, peacefully with the friends and most neighbours chiefly. He was called "China" by many people and became famous In verulam like the republic of China. He was called "a good neighbour" by some folks. They were called each other with Vanitha "honey, sweetie, sweet-heart." Let me express it in three words vers "stong loving partners." As a good neighbor,I could witness their small misunderstandings as human beings. Vanitha Naiker remains bottling a lot of memories about her late hobby China. Oh! death, Family and community did not abandon Jason But death knocked on the door harshly And separated the body and soul of Nevel Chetty. Yoh! Jason gone, A brilliant artist paint passed on Left his family and community members Left his best friend Pillay Isaiah Who knows nothing about death. When he saw him on the floor He asked,"mamy why does uncle sleeps on the floor flat immobile?" The question sounded tricky as he is three years old And he does not know the meaning of death yet. He saw some family members carrying him to thekwini funeral luxury trans. He asked,"mamy, where do they carry uncle?" " to the hospital "she answered. Many people around him were crying but he was still clueless of the depart of his best friend to rest. I and some people who heard Jason knocking on the door at five am and said " it is Sunday , don't you go to church?" I and some people who last saw China walking Sunday at nine morning and left this earth at past ten morning were puzzled. " How...it is impossible, Why happening this way?" many folks did not believe. Nevel's last word to me on sunday at nine morning was, " sorry pastor." I could not notice it was a good bye good neighbor. may his soul rest in peace With those who left this earth to live after death While waiting for the last Judgement By the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
