October 19 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Acts 12-13 Key Verse – Acts 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY PRAYER UPHOLDER October 19 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Acts 12-13 Key Verse – Acts 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY PRAYER UPHOLDER Lord God, You are my prayer Upholder Who works in me to overcome worldly vexation Thank You for Your binding love midst carnality’s irritating apprehension So I can follow Your leading vision--- Keep on imprisoning me in Your mercy to smite temptation. Lord God, You are my prayer Upholder Who braces me up by Your deliverance Thank You for Your nourishing peace midst knocking doubts of ignorance So I can grow with Your Word’s endurance--- Keep on beckoning me to abide in Your assurance. Lord God, You are my prayer Upholder Who teaches me by authority Thank You for Your infilling Holy Ghost midst ministry’s difficulty So I can fight evil’s subtlety by Your truth’s certainty--- Keep on granting me prudence-serenity, sensitivity and sensibility. Lord God, You are my prayer Upholder Who radiates to me Your light brightness Thank You for Your exhorting principles midst compromise-darkness So I can subdue destructive conviction-weakness--- Keep on driving me away from humanistic worldliness. Lord God, You are my prayer Upholder Who puts me inside Your promised covenant Thank You for Your fortifying courage midst condemning fears so repugnant So I can stay submissive to You, humbly repentant--- Keep on strengthening me against faith that is stagnant. Lord God, You are my prayer Upholder Who moves me to serve You willingly Thank You for Your preaching admonitions midst deceit lurking stealthily So I can live holy, walking along paths of stewardship steadfastly--- Keep on prodding me to remain in Your righteousness daily. Lord God, You are my prayer Upholder Who continues to transform me by Your grace Thank You for Your sanctifying revival midst sins that hinder Christian race So I can vanquish attacking pride of selfishness and covetousness-trace--- Keep on enabling me to worship You with sincere, grateful praise.
