Poem

When I was a young guy
With my head stuck  in the sky
For everything a why
Fought with my pen
Since I can't remember when
Mother says I was a born writer
But turned out I was a fighter
Always pulling an all nighter
Long days 
Maybe my evil ways
Kept me always on the go
I was not someone you got to know
My heart I didn't show
The world was mine
No light I cared to shine
Living in a world I didn't want
So many bad memories that haunt
My lifes one lonely flaw
Is living unsaw
But I learned maybe that was good
When your misunderstood
So many like me
Out there to people not to see
A lonely life that turns out to be
So many walking the street
Head down in defeat 
Living from day to day
Never knowing what to say
No where to stay
Shivering through the night
Hard to see the light
When life's such a fight
Life and people pass me by
Never to see the tear I cry
I try to not bow in defeat
When I'm looked down on as just more trash in the street
I have a heart
Even though my life has fallen apart
The hard fight
So many a cold night
One slowly loses the will to fight 
Standing in the rain
Lost in the pain
You walk on by don't even look
Lost in your own little nook
I am standing there
No one seems to care
Do they even dare
The world of today
Lost is the way
Those that are kind
So hard to find
Nothing new
Covered in morning dew
Wishing for some hot stew
This is life
Self made strife
Of the broken mind
Peace so hard to find
When no one can be kind
