Poem
"The world's going to drowned!" he gasped as he sat up in his bed. He glimpsed at his wife, suddenly imagining her dead. "I must build a giant boat!" the thought came to mind. The flood was coming fast, he was quickly loosing time. He kissed her on her head, just a tempoary goodbye. And got up to gather up his tools, before the water came to rise. He called his sons by name and gathered them from their beds And told them "We must work, if we do not want our wives dead!" The men gathered their tools and began to collect much wood And began to work hard, like all men should. The one father of these three men, called around "The world's going to flood! Head for high ground!" The people of the world laughed and mocked his words. They sat on their behinds, and somehow spread the word. "The old man is crazy! Do you hear what he says!?" They laughed and ate and drank, as the winds got mad. "He says GOD told him! To build a giant boat!" As the days went by, they all heard the jokes. The men had faith, and in their hearts love, so they continue working hard. They did as GOD said and gathered two of each animal, one boy and one girl. The day finally came, when there would be a tide. The family boarded the boat with hope and a sigh. "Each animal is on here as GOD told us to do! NOW is the last chance for you!" But still they laughed and drank and blew off his words. So the men of the family safely closed the Ark's door. The sky became dark and quickly turned to gray. As it began to rain, the foolish people began to run away. They begged to be let in, claiming they now knew But the LORD commanded "No!" as the wind roughly blew. Lightning cracked and the thunder roared As the safe family listened to the storm. For forty days and forty nights the sky cried tears. Rain flooding the earth was all they would hear.
