How many times could I dull start a poem today - I need to clean the car, manicure my nails and generally look presentable... 

I'm half way there, ish. 

I never know the last time
I'll flicker into existence
Nor all the times, I was there 
Yet never realised

It's like the camera angles on Strictly
They zoom in and I don't see, I feel
Everything rests
No hyper speed brain

I won't be mouthing 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3
Just experiencing the ease of good company
Alive in the moment

All expectations on being
In fact 'being' due to no expectations
Although this car thing
My friend won't go for that mess

My children just returned from a sleepover
Came and hugged me 
Whilst we figured out how not to topple over in hug Jenga
That was a moment

Today I'm present
My friend trying clearly concerned about me gifting lifts as I appear to accidentally arrive on time with the air of someone who just struck lucky
