Poem
I am trying to compose a rhythm that everyone can sing, I am trying to compose a rhythm that everyone can join in. You did not go to school and you don’t know the golden rule but you stand in front of the line with your long frock and bread head choking the life out of a business that is already dead. A new investment is walking around with dollar bills and a crown but if he gets that investment everyone will drown and so you have to remove them immediately from the town. They have been trying for many years to get the land and the share , more than seven investors have come and gone and they still continue to gallivant on the lawn, let them deposit the money in the bank and let it grow interest in the ground and let the root spread all around some places cannot be sold. They are from a Latin town and they walk around with chips in their shoulder and barks at you as they grow older. Their manners are sinking in the ground and the protocols are floating in their head, and the community is getting ready to bury the dead. See them over there staring at you they have no respect for me and you, they hiss their teeth and turn up the musical beat, and drown out your voice. Sometimes they walk around and shout your name all over the street. They have no respect and they are laden in debt, and heaven knows what will happen next. They have nothing to give and their lack of knowledge causes the parakeet to sing, the dogs are barking, the cows are mooing, the donkeys are braying and the goats are maying, and I want a rhythm suitable for everyone to join in. Place a big canvas on the ground and walk on it around and around, Mark the four corners with ink and mix a bucket of paint with all the primary colors, get your guitar in tune and gather the different races at moon and call it the ethnic dip; you will give each one a slip to participate in it. You will strum your guitar with all the notes on the bar and each race will splash the paint in a rhythm that fills their face. You will capture the movement with the guitar strings and compose a new rhythm that everyone can sing. You will combine the texture of the town and everyone will walk on canvas with their feet flat on the ground and map out the rhythm equivalent to their heart beat. And when you acquire the tune, meet me on the dock before noon, we will write the music together with ink and feather, then you will assemble the band and we will put the whole thing together and one voice will disburse the music in letters The rhythm is similar to what is currently done now but only one person is allowed to touch the gun. There is no workplace boss or street side boss when they hear the sound everyone must sing to the global rhythm.
