September 10 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Matthew 17-19

Key Verse – Matthew 17:1-2 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY SHINING LIGHT			

Lord God, You are my shining Light through Your compassion
Thank You for giving me eternal life-gift along my soul conversion
For me to behold Your face with Your granted heavenly vision 
Being Your rescued soul against hell’s oppression.

Lord God, You are my shining Light through Your salvation-assurance
Thank You for leading me to Your way along faith’s appearance
For me to receive Your victory-seal against temptation-endurance
Being Your forgiven believer, freed from religious ignorance.

Lord God, You are my shining Light through Your brightness
Thank You for sanctifying me with Your holiness
For me to abide in Your restoration’s peacefulness
Being Your adopted child by Your gracious redemption-greatness.

Lord God, You are my shining Light through Your mercy
Thank You for curing me of my sin-disease with Your clemency
For me to pray and fast in Your will’s freedom-persistency
Being Your called disciple by Your loving fervency.

Lord God, You are my shining Light through Your radiant glow
Thank You for illumining me with Your Word, devoid of deceitful show
For me to learn from Your truth against falsehood blow
Being Your diligent student, overcoming unbelief-caused sorrow.

Lord God, You are my shining Light through Your guiding hand
Thank You for instructing me to obey Your command
For me to submit to You with reverence to Your divine demand
Being Your joyful worshipper clinging to You with biblical stand.

Lord God, You are my shining Light through Your righteous radiant way
Thank You for keeping me in Your intimacy as in Your perfect will I stay
For me to remain faithful, taught to wait patiently as I trustfully pray
Being Your blest steward enjoying Your fellowship every day.
