Poem
You kept pulling us apart and driving us out into the dark; you kept pulling us apart when you knew that you have gotten it wrong from the start. You kept pulling us apart when knew we could work together and build a better tomorrow. Sheep and goat are deep and they don’t belong in the street; dogs and cats have nothing in common and the grizzly bear has nothing to spare. How much more wind must we blow to get you off our show? How much more blood must be shed before you get out of my bed? I have worked for twenty years to build this magnificent sanctuary and you sits in your Timbuctoo office with your soapy bottom telling us what is divine How did you get into this thing? Do you know where we have been? We have walked our shoe off, slept in the dark ate jackfruit seed for supper and drink muddy water for dinner. Our body is stinking and the light in my heart sometimes grows dim and when the nights get cold, we held on to each other’s soul from a distance. That is the closest we have ever been and we have not sinned. Why do you keep pulling us apart when you know that we can create miracle together? Why do you keep pulling us apart? When you know that we can build companies together and employ a million head and prepare a land lock cemetery to bury the unruly dead. We can bring warring faction together; win every deal to stop the useless steal, when mind interlock with mind and soul touches soul the mystery will unfold. This is the only chance I’ve got to wear a new frock and you try desperately to steal it off my back. You have been messing with my dreams for the very day I land on your shore, you have been messing with my dreams the first time I let you through the door, your ambition is too high and you are going to die, You want to reap what you don’t sow and you want to gather what you don’t grow, I have a business mind and I communicate with the divine’, you must go to Rome and wear one of those long gowns to find solace. The revelation will come and the sky will start spinning around. I am moving forward with my plans so come and join me if you can and you will learn something about the wind and you will understand why I cannot keep still, destiny will bind us together.
