Poem
I sit here with sweat dripping from my face wondering what is going on over there; the bell is tolling way over yonder another young man has gone under, big boots and big hats and long guns with hidden straps saddle on horseback moving slowly towards the ranch. You can hear the shots firing out and the people are running about, Texas Christian University student life came to an abrupt end and the young Christian white man is lying on the ground dead with blood spilling from his head. It feels like a dejavu about a scene that took place at a bar. How many more bullets must be fired? How many more lives must you suffer? How much more blood must run on the ground? How many more people do you have to kill in the town? Who else do you have on your hit list? And who do you have to measure the dish? the man could have created mayhem but he knew his targets and so he just went after it. I am not sure what the young man had done but his life was cut short in the dark. There must be another way to keep the devil away. I looked towards East, and saw a strange moon with a particular heat, radiating from the center. It was twice the size of a normal moon and I felt that something was going to transpire soon. I looked at it several times and saw something that is divine, it was actually the sun with is orange glow stucked in the skies and hanging below, and something dynamic was ascending. Shortly I woke up to hear the news that India has sent another mission to the sun to get the real job done What is going on over there, tell me what you have to share, are you planning another mission to the moon to view the eclipse that will happen soon, the blood moon and the orange sun will send the earth on the run and the star with its colorless light will guide us through the night. What is going on over there? Do you have some good news to share? Day in and day out the people are complaining about the standard of living over here. They have lost their self-esteems over a broken and derailed dream; the tension is high and discontent is flying in the sky. They have been working everyday with no real objective in mind, their backs are broken, they have walked off their shoe and there is no one to give them a bottle of perfume. Everyone comes and use them and pretends to be their friend and as they turn their backs another one comes hunkering down in their beds. What are you doing over there? It’s time to make a move, you will be joining the front line, and you will have some time to choose.
