Key Verse – Zephaniah 1:2 I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the LORD.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY SIN-CONSUMER			

Lord God, You are my sin-Consumer, especially of my stubbornness
Thank You for stretching Your hand of forgiveness
With Your goodness that brings peacefulness
So that I can depart from wickedness.

Lord God, You are my sin-Consumer, especially of my pride’s noise
Thank You for extending Your help to guard my Christian poise
With Your fence of humility and tower of protection’s voice
So that I can dwell in Your meekness-favour wherein I rejoice.

Lord God, You are my sin-Consumer, especially of my desire for vain glory
Thank You for sending Your warning to drive my soul to Your holy territory
With Your power to free me from captivity of carnality’s misery
So that I can share Your Gospel story toward heavenly victory.

Lord God, You are my sin-Consumer, especially of my spoiling selfish addiction
Thank You for magnifying Your grace-action and compassion-function
With Your work of loving transformation along ready sanctification
So that I can testify always about Your granted assurance of salvation.

Lord God, You are my sin-Consumer, especially of my motives so filthy
Thank You for pouring Your cleansing water for me to be spiritually healthy
With Your light of wisdom making me divinely wealthy
So that I can receive Your instructions, verily precious and worthy.

Lord God, You are my sin-Consumer, especially of my devouring jealousy
Thank You for reinforcing my service commitment of consistency
With Your discipline to admonish my negligence and complacency
So that I can cling to You, along Your truth and mercy.

Lord God, You are my sin-Consumer, especially of my false judgment
Thank You for illumining my mind toward proper discernment
With Your counsel from Your Word’s enlightenment
So that I can live for You by Your empowerment.
