Poem
Written: August 23, 2023 ______________________________________________________________ Moments evaporate, as moonlight cascades, Entwined in shadows, where love never fades. Stars melt away, in the velvet sky, Without the sun, the spirit sways and decay But how deep, the roots fueling the fire inside, Igniting the spirit, with a passion that cannot hide. Only the drenching of night's hypnotic embrace, Can unleash the desires, and set the heart ablaze. In the depths of darkness, where dreams reside, A dance of destiny, where two souls collide. The moon gentle glow, a guiding light, Leading us closer, through the depths of night. With every touch, our connection grows With such embers of eternity, the passion flows. Whispers and sighs, akin to a symphony rhyme Merging our souls, in a love that's so sublime. No sun is needed, for our love to bloom, For in this darkness, our love finds room. It flourishes, it thrives, with a strength untold, Fed by the depths of emotions, so bold. Each moment spent together, is a sacred treasure, As we navigate this journey, with love as our measure. In the finale, when time looms still, Our love will remain, unbreakable, and real. For in the depths of night, we find our way, Chase the stars to endless hugs, let all fade away. As we surrender to the night's hypnotic dance, Lost in each other's arms, in a heavenly trance. For it is in this darkness, where our love is pure, Where passion ignites, and our souls endure. Undying embers of night, where dreams are alive, Our love burns bright, as embers that survive. No need for the sun, to nourish our flame, For our love is eternal, and it has no name. The roots of our love run deep, Fueling the fire that is inside us, we seep. The dance of the night, the heavenly sighs, They are the essence of our love ties. At last, when all is uttered and done, Our love still shines under the sun.
