Poem
I made several grave mistakes on purpose Accidentally called you by another name I am a tragedy in reverse in every verse Shame on me for doing the self-blame game I had a dream of a stream of tears, Running down my eyes for many years Change is a challenging chore and cheers to happiness and positivity ashore I adore you to the core, to the core but I don’t anymore, anymore, anymore So I ascend to the deepest of my core I had a dream of you once upon a time I had a dream of you in sunshine, love of mine I had a dream of you and it was so crime I’m doing just fine, just suicidal and trying so fine… I had a stream-of-a-dream It gave me such high self-esteem I can scream in joy Because I’m a joyous boy But, these morbid, horrid voices in my head Tell me to die and go to sleep instead, instead I had a dream of a stream of tears, Running down my eyes for many years Change is a challenging chore and cheers to happiness and positivity ashore I adore you to the core, to the core but I don’t anymore, anymore, anymore I made several grave mistakes and I’m a disgrace Accidentally called you by the wrong name I have an infinity times infinity headache Shame on me for giving you yet another heartache I had a dream of a stream of tears, Running down my eyes for many years Change is a challenging chore and cheers to happiness and positivity ashore I adore you to the core, to the core but I don’t anymore, anymore, anymore I had a dream of you once upon a time I had a dream of you in sunshine, love of mine I had a dream of you and it was so crime I’m doing just fine, just suicidal and trying so fine… I had a stream-of-a-dream It gave me such high self-esteem I can scream in joy Because I’m a joyous boy But, these morbid, horrid thoughts in my head Tell me to die and go to sleep instead, instead I had a dream of a stream of tears, Running down my eyes for many years Optimistic notions is a challenging chore and cheers to happiness and positivity ashore I adore you to the core, to the core but I don’t anymore, anymore, anymore I had a dream, had a dream, a dream, dream It was as good as brewed coffee and yummy cream I had a nightmare to the utmost extreme Fairly enough, I feel like I’m going to scream I had a dream of a stream of tears, Running down my eyes for many years Change is a challenging chore and cheers to happiness and positivity ashore I adore you to the core, to the core but I don’t anymore, anymore, anymore I am praying away the suicidal ideation It’s reducing me to frustration and agitation I am trying my hardest to be patient with myself again How have you been? I am feeling a zero, not a ten At least it’s not negative 37 Or else, I’d be a positive 69 I had a dream of a stream of tears, Running down my eyes for many years Change is a challenging chore and cheers to happiness and positivity ashore I adore you to the core, to the core but I don’t anymore, anymore, anymore Rock bottom isn’t far, for the shallow waters inside me are on feet level, I can tell I’ve been through worse and I know I can let the devil kiss my grits and go to hell I just feel like yelling It’s appalling how I keep dwelling On the inner negativity inside me When will I be free? Maybe tomorrow hopefully I had a dream of you once upon a time I had a dream of you in sunshine, love of mine I had a dream of you and it was so crime I’m doing just fine, just suicidal and trying so fine… I had a stream-of-a-dream It gave me such high self-esteem I can scream in joy Because I’m a joyous boy But, these morbid, horrid voices in my head Tell me to die and go to sleep instead, instead I tell it to die — the voices My spirit inside, it rejoices I tell myself to live, regardless Of feeling distress more or less I will live my dream Even if it means my mixed emotions Will fade like a stream, Heading towards the lake and oceans
