Poem
Oh, God how patient is your outstretched hand Giving one a way to come to know you From leading one out of captivity Giving an escape from the enemy Only that one shall return to be held captive In gaining self pride in own works Building idols with own hands To worship themselves or things to parrish For you have brought awareness of what keeps One captive by your arc of the covenant Dividing the Jordan to give the whole nation access Unto, a new land to seek your guidance But, yet the laws written on stone of hearts Until the day when Christ was raised To stretch out His hands willingly As the forever sacrifice to bring true division That one might see that the enemy is within To be separated by the spirit That God might write the laws on ones mind And place them within their hearts No longer conforming to old things of the world But, the renewing of the mind and heart Receiving guidance to make a dwelling place That God's promised spirit might reign To give glory unto His Majestic creation That Christ died so one might receive An eternal inheritance that shall withstand Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground. Exodus 14:16 NIV The priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord stopped in the middle of the Jordan and stood on dry ground, while all Israel passed by until the whole nation had completed the crossing on dry ground. Joshua 3:17 NIV Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.” John 3:14?-?15 NIV For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:12?-?13 NIV
