Poem
Replying back within seconds, staring at our texts waiting for a reply, rethinking what I said. Did my words make your heart melt like yours do to me? Have you smiling and giggling at your phone, kicking your feet and reread each word until they sink in. I wonder what you look like reading my texts. Do you also second guess what you text me? Are you realizing that I'm your forever the way I'm realizing I don't want to be without you? I fell in love with you faster than I've ever fallen in love with anyone before. I've never craved affection like this. Never craved attention. It's like I want you to only look at me forever. Don't want to share you with anyone else. Can't I keep all your love for me? All my love is yours. Wouldn't that be a perfect crime, my love? I take your love and you take mine. Sounds like a fairytale. Our fairytale. Our love story. I could write pages about you, talk about you for hours and hours, and never run out of things to say. Because I learn more and I fall more in love. I love every part of you. The good. The bad. The parts of you you don't love. I'll kiss your insecurities away, tell you how amazing I find you. How perfect you are for me. How I look at you and fall in love all over again. I'll tell you over and over again until you believe me. Help you put your broken pieces back together again. Let me be the reason you wake up. Let me be the reason you take care of yourself. Until you see yourself as enough of a reason, let me be your reason. I'll kiss away your apologies. Remind you it's okay to have feelings, to reach out for help, to not be okay. Every time you apologize, I'll kiss you until you forget what you were apologizing for. Kiss the words right off your tongue. Replace them with I love you's. baby, I can't wait to be with you in person. Look at you with so much love you'll never doubt my heart. Would you look at me the same way? I think I'd faint if you did. My sweetest love, I could go on forever about you, about how I feel about you. But what's the point when you'll never read these words. These are the words I wish I could tell you but I'm scared to mess things up. The words I wish you knew. The words hidden behind every I love you. Poured out from the heart, every raw emotion. It's all over the place and messy but the best things in life usually are. I love you. I'm in love with you. That's the gist. The too long didn't read. You make me the happiest I've ever been and I'll never be able to thank you enough. You could give me the rest of your life and that still wouldn't be long enough. Would you find me in our next lives? Would you love me just like you do now? Maybe that's why I fell so hard so fast. Maybe we've already been in love. Maybe in every life time we end up falling in love. How beautiful would that be? A love that spans centuries. Maybe it was always us. No one else makes sense now that it's you. And maybe you'll read this one day and see that I'm insane. Wonder why I rambled so long about you. Why I didn't just stop at I love you. But the feelings I have for you are so much more. Is there a word stronger than love? A word that could properly convey what I feel for you? This sounds like something you'd know. And maybe I'm beside you as you read this. Maybe you'll look over to me and whisper what word it is before giving me a kiss. Maybe we aren't that far yet. Maybe I just texted this to you, labeled it as a late night ramble. How long did it take for you to realize this is all about you? Are you smiling yet? I hope so. I hope I make you as happy as you make me. Even half as happy would work. As long as you're happy. there are so many things I have left to say, but this unsent letter is already so long. All these words just to tell you I love you. To tell you I'm in this for the long run. You in baby?
