This is in memoriam for a special lady who helped many people. She sadly took her own life after losing the battle against PTSD.

I've structured this song from the perspective of hope for a better future for anyone who has any form of mental health issues. This in no way implies that the path is ever easy or the war truly won... But my wish is that it will uplift and inspire hope... A spark of light in the darkness...

Like an unwelcome guest, 
You took over my mind;
Never behaving, 
Never decent or kind... 

So I tried to evict you, 
Kick you to the curb;
But you were obsessed, 
You wanted my all... 

I decided to fight, 
Fight you some more;
I got the help I needed 
To kick you right out the door...

Not failing this endeavour;

Like a jealous lover,

Of all I did, thought

Sometimes it was easier
To stay home in bed...

But then I pushed back,
Put boundaries in place;
Forced you out to
