The legacy of the past is tainted to the core. 
A haunting memory, which I deplore.
But in your arms, I am restored.
Embracing a love that is never ignored.

You call me bare-chested, incomplete,
But your love makes me feel complete.
I shed the doubts that once held me tight.
And now I soar into the endless night.

Thereupon such never before.
Our love's flame burns at its core.
No longer entertaining doubt,
I broke free from the chains that stout.

I am left under no obligation, released from the pain,
And I emerge stronger, never to be the same again,
Your beauty captivates me, sets me free,
Such a bird soaring high above the sea.

It's only ordinary that this feeling is so pure.
In your presence, I am secure.
There's never been any choice but you,
In your arms, my heart finds glue.

You are idyllic In every way, without defect.
You can do no wrong; it's true.
My love for you only grew.
From the young pupil's lips no rhetoric we expect.

It takes all sorts to induce this world.
But with you, my love unfurled.
You induce me to feel akin to Romeo.
Conquering the world is our love's blow.

No illusions shattered; only the truth was unveiled.
In your embrace, love's enigma prevails.
Shattered illusions, left behind in the past,
Our love stands strong, forever to last.
