Poem
Whom to identify? Never you, dear. Striving to please others means easing yours, I fear. You vanish, unreachable in the crowd. After greater life wisdom, it may be allowed. But even then, the question remains: is it worth it? To sacrifice who you are to fit in and submit? No, my dear, you must value yourself above all. Seeking validation will only bear your fall. If you don't need aid, never ask. Self-reflection reveals values and bask Consider your beliefs and what truly matters. Being significant trumps appearing so; it flatters. On a Friday night, with a partner by your side, Let your attire mirror your style and be your guide. Share your opinions, be bold, and speak your mind. Do you reckon your hairstyle? Is it your kind? Do you always reckon crimson, or are you inclined? Avoid outside approval; it will only discredit you. Your beauty won't win them over; it's true. Actions reveal character, not what they say behind. So reserve time for yourself; it's what you lack. Boost your confidence and embrace your luck. Before twenty, learn of yourself in any zone. You are not defined by your clothes or your phone. Your hair or your response—you stand alone. Individually, you are your essence, that which attracts, So realize this truth and shed the fear of others' acts. Stop worrying about pleasing others; don't be prone Focus on yourself and dissipate the fear. Live your values and desires, be true to your core, And you'll be freer than ever before. They may ask, "Can we be friends?", dear. Pleasing others means abandoning yourself, I fear. But in valuing yourself, you'll find the key. To live a life that's authentic and free. So embrace your true self and let it shine clear.
