Kindness and Lament Money never to be found or spare Funny how people just sit there and stare Honey now you know this really isn’t fair Sunny for those who genuinely care Affection for those who are broken and bruised Reflection for those who are feeling so bemused Redemption for the poor, the maimed and abused A mention for those who remain perpetually confused Confidential information for government agencies Consequential degradation for high end fragrances Influential intonations of street kids and vagrancies Coincidental confirmation of engrained systemic complacency Monumental invitations for the overnight famous Continental limitations for the ethically heinous An Irish poet from the heart whose first name is Seamus No time to slow it down from the start as we judge the contemporaneous A memory left to recall and forget A dream for free theft to enthral and beget A scream from me bereft of all that I regret A horizon revealing the perfect sunset My eyes upon the west for the ultimate suprise The sign around my neck saying Free the Wise The last time you checked before you heard the sound of her cries The perfection they inspect as the middle class sighs Conversation toward an enlivening future Invitations appalled by a wound that needs sutures Imitations of cartoons and comics and Reuters Configurations of Artificial Intelligence transcending computers A cure for disease that lasts for all of mankind A pure reprieve for the inherently kind A sure intrigue for the weight on my mind A demure garment sleeve, one whose been left behind A concert at high noon at the top of his powers Young Mozart, a silver spoon, before the mood turned sour Humphrey Bogart begins to croon at the very last hour A rare piece of art on the moon, beginning to cower War torn capital cities creating destruction Forlorn young pretties rejecting instructions Old and worn committees reflecting complex constructions A saviour is born witty injecting inquests and instructions Perspective refined as the studious mind Gets reflective entwined by the space in a rhyme Introspective enshrined by the passing of time A new directive combined with the radiance of Chaplain in mime A true incentive inclined by the truth of a sign Communication a source of perpetual connection Emalgamation of self made internal inspection The End Copywrite Elizabeth Moroz 2023
