Poem
Remember – He is there In every single prayer Reassuring and healing, fulfilling Hearts and souls with tenderness Providing hope that is like a smile, Freeing light into the thoughts, Inviting music, beautiful so alive Smiles, so pure they inspire The night, - praise and kindness Whispers of His holiness, Sacred comfort, consoling every grief Leaving a sense of the wonderful Where there had been darkness and loneliness Remember – He is there In every dream, every appeal To the joy that abides in the soul, The faith that inspires true love, The serenity that overshadows doubt, The miracles of a Savior who never leaves, He is always there, silencing the sounds Faded pain, grief and sorrow, all those things That make the heart bleed it’s darkness, All those dreams, dying from the captivity Found in souls who don’t believe… He is there – He’ll never leave He waits for hearts to truly believe He is there – In every prayer He is like the wind, silencing sin He is like the light, erasing the dark He is like the beautiful, reflecting the miracle Of a love from God above, a love so good Only the greatest faith can understand It is Him, with His guiding hand… Inspiring joy that comes to hearts who know Him, The greatest man that has ever lived, The miracle of a love so tender and magnificent, The whisper of freedom, the grace that lives on… Through every past dread, through every hurt – every sorrow, He is the light, the love and the lasting breath From a Father who loves beyond what is a gift He loves with a love that is unfathomable, unending This love that He brings is eternal and forgives Even those who think their sins are unforgivable Thanks to this man, this Peace, this Grace I know that I’m saved from the terrors of hell I know that I’m saved from the fear and regret I know that I’m saved by the very hand of love The One who saved my soul is the light of this world He holds onto my heart with a hand that assures I’ll never need to worry or doubt – He gave me a way out From the past, the shame … He answered my prayer For a second chance and I believe in Him, The One who makes a way through every dark day The One to whom I pray… He is my everything!
