Poem
From my core, deep inside Where my heart beats, rhythmic Hopes, dreams, beliefs – everything I’ll ever need to share a part of who I am, The woman who loves, the woman who cares, The woman who hears the beautiful Playing on the seas, whispering in the breeze, Silent like the trees, but vibrant like the gentlest Caress, the kiss of a flower – dew drenched, Dripping its most powerful deliciousness Honey so pure it feels like the most tender hope From my depths, where my soul collides With affections, blessings, miracles Brought to life by the affections of grace, The purity of a faith so alive in will not subside, A prayerful kindness, blazing with enthusiasm, Pouring out tears of laughter, intimate cries, Compassion erasing the darkness, inspiring The softness within me, where I cling to the memory Blowing like a sigh, singing through the skies Precious as a teardrop breaking through the light, Stirring up a dream, a feeling, a belief From my core, where I grow the best thoughts, There lives my heart’s judgements, my feelings, Capturing the spirit with a sense of the most beautiful Muse, encouraging the music – a song played By grace, insightful and rousing the most amazing Thanks, the appreciation for those gifts, those Blessings that erase the pain, make a way for hearts To become filled with praise – these feelings… Like a touch from the greatest “I Am” – moving The heart, the soul, the spirit to believe In the abundance of a love far more beautiful Than anything seen on this earth, A love that will walk away from doubt, Reach beyond the lost dreams, the disbelief, Color the spirit in reflections of gentle, Remind the heart to breathe assurance and Listen to the words of One who came to us Living proof that our feelings have meaning, More than just feelings, they’re hopes and dreams, Memories and belief – they’re the reason for Our hearts singing, our souls promising ideas, The reason for our spirit’s dance, the gift of a love Far more beautiful than time or touch, A love that sings light and reflects joy, A love that lingers inside long after His hand Has touched the heart with it’s music Feelings grow deeper with time, clinging To the life, the soul and the mind, Without any doubt, they are blessings that find God is the giver and our spirits are the recipients Of this love, these feelings, that make a heart Keep believing – keep growing and keep giving! I’m so thankful for these feelings!
