I slept in all day because of a sleepless night
I keep thinking of you in dismay and with might
I’m a lyric without instruments — an a cappella
Without drums, piano and guitar and I’m in awe
Because you’re so far away from my reach

I am sick with loneliness now
I shed these evening tears somehow
I am a fool with sweat on my brow
I’m a grassy pasture without a cow

I have been concealing these wounds for ages…I need some stitches…
I have been burning sages in my meandering mind,
But I’m all ashes, remnants and broken bridges…this ache inside itches…
I have lost it all like burning pages in the wind, left behind
I’m shedding my tears without you near
I’m growing to accept my fears with cheer
I’m lying in wake for you to lift me higher
Than the clouds above…I’m a believer…

I long to be with you forever, but you left in a blur
I keep reminiscing about the past and so unsure
I’m a lyric without arrangements — I’m an unspoken word
Without you abiding by my side and it’s so damn absurd

I am sick with loneliness now
I shed these evening tears somehow
I am a fool with sweat on my brow

Quilting guilt trips for my sex addiction, holding on with these teary tides in my oceanic eyes
Building up courage and lost in the social media delight and in the damaging digital world, no lies

I am sick with loneliness now

Butchering away the endless fields of blasphemy in my blueish brown brain
Nurturing the flourishing flowers and the gracious grain on a daily basis again
Crying to myself silently, praying I could do it aloud
I’m thinking humbly, praying I won’t become proud
