Like a second thought, the joy whispered
Through my heart, into my spirit…

Silent feelings, blended with intimate
Promises from the One who created me,
The One who gave me the ability to care,
The One who gave me the wisdom to share,
The One who gave me the kindness, so rare

Silent feelings, broken by the darkness
Erasing all the doubts and fears, quieting
The whispers of worries and tears,
Inspiring my thoughts to hear the faith,
The glistening prayers filled with pure grace,
The wonder of a joy felt by the spirit’s embrace
From the One who made me and saved me,
The same One who gave me eternity – always

Like a second thought, the joy breathed 
Through my heart, into my spirit…

Restoration, inspiration, an invitation
To love like only He can love, with a beautiful
That is beyond explaining, a wonderful
That is alive and supplies the whole life
With meaning, believing, a rhythmic beating
From the miracle of a love that is so sweet
It feels like nothing on earth could ever complete
Me, like the lingering sigh of His light, His life…

Like a second thought, His perfect love abides
In the heart who believes, the soul who agrees
To give without conditions, to live for the Redeemer,
Never giving up hope, never giving in to sin, always loving
Gentle, like the One who was made sin for us, His children

So keep on believing – eternity will bring us home,
Where our hearts can feel free from the sorrows,
Free from the past, free from everything that saddens…
Thanks to the love of One who gave all so we could know
Eternity with the God who loved with a love more alive
Than anything ever experienced in this life… 

Like a second thought, His light trembles through my smile
Leaving hope as it glows through my soul, inspiring
The most beautiful love I’ve ever known, a love that continues
On and on, until the end of this life – throughout eternity
I will live on the love that is forever mine, because I know One
Who is bigger than life, brighter than the stars of night –
He is victory that comes to those who believe because grace
Broke away the chains that bind, inspired the soul to eternal life…

Eternity with Jesus is the best reason to give up the world
With all of its strife – and live for the One who was the sacrifice
For everyone who knows that love grows on, through eternity
On and on, so that He is the light to shine throughout time,
Brighter than any sun – He is the SONSHINE that inspires souls
To listen to the song only He can give – the song of eternity
Promising to still every doubt, reassure every dream and lift
Up the spirit so that is soars through the worst fears it’s had

Thanks to Jesus, eternity will be a place for love to sing and shout!
