Shadows seeming to come alive
Light playing trick’s in minds eye
Sound so soft it is barely heard
And .. Nobody anywhere utters a word ..


Silence reigns with no soul
Pavement sweats and seems as glass
Cloaking mist flows through the town
Harbinger of what must be found ..


Eddy of sea smoke wafts the streets
Beauty and horror the first to meet
Justice is its only purpose
Retribution the only agenda ..


Ethereal forms in whispers of smoke
At a glance there is three
Deception at work three is one !
Having justice with purpose to be met out
The furies set about their toil …

A living night is arrested
Air Like molasess a choking hold
Daughters of Cronos Have arrived
No more tricks in minds eye


Venerable ones they stand for right
As awful ones they will have order
Their Purpose punish Those who slayed
Blood debt first of that they say


Sisters furor brought forth blood
Hair of serpents in dog form
Wings like eagles’ grace its back
Have no way of changing track


Alecto unceasing surges by
Raucous screech splits the night
Tisipone avenging Presence of nyx
Grudging megaera to her right


From nyx came Their purpose laid
untruths punished today be paid
Cry rings out through the night …
“Suffering Erinyes !! Tonight’s the night !!”


Mournful cry continues on …
“Erinyes your torture ends
All your owed shall be paid
Blood debts first our mind been made !!” …

Alecto shrieking into night
giving all a hellish fright
suddenly their venture made clear
they come to pass judgment … a mortal fear


Megaera the jealous strokes her hair
Tisipone the avenger brings up the rear
their eternal flame to avenge erinyes
send a soul home without earthly strings


Spells and wonders start flying about
bumping the innocent and making them shout
disenthralled the unmarked look around
the wicked start lifting up off the ground


Drawing on spells from earlier times
three start chanting and talking in rhyme
the world stands quiet fine mist in the air
and guilty shiver for their sin is bare


Men of stature without any fear
sully themselves as death is near
madness starts as that is the torture
Innocent look down life is withdrawing


Three Sisters regather and move away
back shall they come some other day
for man cant help but to kill his own
So the furies will forever have to roam ….
