Poem

I was raised with love 
Alot of smiles from everybody around
Even now 
But it was alot of affection 
Being brought up by majority women
Gave me the wrong impression 
Because while they was giving me
 hugs And kisses 
I'm over here enjoying every minute 
They failed to show me the difference 
Meaning 
That this is the act of all women 
And it wasn't 
Misguided no sense of direction 
And I had to learn a valuable lesson
To not expect this from all females 
Receiving rejection everyday 
And being pushed away 
Because of the way I show love 
And it burns
It's because the way they were raised 
They were not taught to giv it bac in return 
My only concern 
Is why I wasn't warned 
Why was I raised to believe this 
Why didn't I know is the question 
Yal could of showed me the other side
At least as a reflection 
Then teach me the correction 
Instead yal jus made me believe 
That the love you show 
Is the same you shall receive 
But my generation women don't agree 
Leaving me guessing for the connection 
I'm not a Saint I make mistakes 
There's no such thing as perfection 
And when you do wrong things 
Karma gives no exceptions 
But yal didn't warn me so I didn't expect this
The misconception 
I feel betrayed I wanna change 
But I'm afraid it's 2 late 
I'm stuck this way 
I was raised with love 
And I hate it every single day
