Poem
The wind is sitting on the branches of time turning its head on every corner while the daffodils are jumping and prancing in the flower bed. I could see something moving in the sky blazing through the clouds at a speed unknown. I observe it for a while and watch it slowly tapered off in thin air. There were several of them gallivanting in the heavens; they look like missiles from above crashing without a sound. I looked around for debris on the ground but there was nothing to be found except for the smell of burnt rice coming from the kitchen and the woman next door singing a woeful hymn. The thunder is rolling and the rain is drizzling and the frightened dogs are barking at the sound of the shadows spilling from the ground. It’s like a scene evolving out of a scene and mankind is wrapped up in its selfish dreams, while the man with the necklace watches over his dog and looks at it running about the yard. The rain is coming down again, beating furiously on the roof, everyone is running for cover as spring slowly evaporates in the air. I have had some days like this before when water rushes like a mad man through the door. Taking everything its path, wood, logs, and furniture store. I just look at it washing down the street, mankind vanity is incomplete, hording things be can’t afford and beating his head when death knocks at his door. Water is healing but conscience can be revealing when the moral etiquette is gasping for breath, you are still asking for more. It is that part of nature that spills out in the street riding on a thin line while the earth prepares for a serenade; I watched huge balloons floating in the sky and the universe scrambling for an answer Water is running down the street and cars stand in the midst like boulders falling down from the hill until it came in contact with something profound. I could hear it from a distance, cutting through trees and rooting up plants; it went on for several hours pulling down towers and escaped in the middle of the night something strange is going to happen tonight so hold your pillow close to your side and cross your heart. Can’t you see that the wind is gone? It left just before dawn.
