© Francis Maugo Lost in the Echo, a tale unfolds, Of Angelimo at University of Nairobi, her story holds. Amidst the halls of knowledge, she sought her way, But darkness awaited, leading her astray. Within the university's esteemed gates she tread, With dreams and hopes held high, her spirit fed. Trusted friends emerged, with deceitful smiles, Unveiling a path that would shatter her for miles. Through whispers and promises, they led her astray, To Koinange streets, where shadows held sway. At the heart of Nairobi, her body was sold, Yet in the echo of pain, a flicker of strength took hold. Angelimo gazed at her reflection, her spirit forlorn, Her innocence shattered, her dignity torn. But within her, a flame began to ignite, A resilience growing, a determination taking flight. With every soul she encountered in the dark, She saw her own reflection, a poignant mark. For in their eyes, she witnessed her own plight, And a longing for freedom, a yearning for light. She escaped the clutches of that haunted street, Resolute in her heart, a victory to meet. Angelimo sought redemption, a path to reclaim, To rewrite her story, her soul to proclaim. Through the scars and anguish, a transformation arose, Like a butterfly emerging from a cocoon's close. She found her voice, a beacon to guide, A symbol of survival, her spirit never denied. No longer lost in the Echo of her past, Angelimo rose above the shadows, her strength steadfast. From the depths of despair, she embraced her worth, A testament to resilience, a beacon on Earth. Her story now inspires, a testament of grace, To rise from the darkness, to find a better place. Lost in the Echo, but found in her soul, Angelimo blossomed a new, like a flower untold. So let her tale be a testament to fight, To rise from the depths, to reclaim one's light. For within the darkest echoes of pain, There lies a strength that Angelimo shall retain. A living testimony to the rest of Angelimo Still stuck in the murky world of friendship betrayal.
