Poem
A light that never fades, Always shining, always swaying Dancing through the cobalt skies Luminous waves of southern grace Piercing the soul with its amazing Soothing away every dark dissuasion A light that seems to smile Forever summer in the heart of a child, Erasing the worries, restoring the heart Who knows that to embrace this beautiful There is a simplicity in knowing, in holding The wounded whisper, so eloquent Like music pouring from the soul who knows Promises remind that love is alive inside Those hearts who believe, who remember The peace that survives every fire, each desire Even the setting of a sun who arrives On the evening’s sigh, blessing, expressing All the feelings that come to those who know Sunrise, sunset – healing and hoping, Forever in the quest for a peace that never tires, A peace that won’t expire, a peace that provides All the striking wonders that come alive In the radiance of sunlight’s smile A light that prays to the heaven’s Creator, The One who made sound, silence and sensations Soothing away the doubts, the trembling Of an imagination who defeats the past, the memories Happening all over again in the sweetness of a celebration Who recalls the wings of clouds, the stars glistening, The winds hissing… it is the miracle of laughing skies, Sun pouring out the truth in soft clouds, gentle Truths who never shout, never doubt, never bale out…. This is the light that settles and restores Souls who know that, with love – peace from above This light, the sun that is like a ball of fire in the skies Surrounds the heart with music, dancing beautiful Through the feelings, glowing and flowing Intimate like the relationship between Father and Son, The hesitation of shafts of grace, pouring out hope… Comforting like the Holy Spirit does when He brings with Him The intensity, the tender whisper – the healing Blessing the soul with assurance that He is always there, Brighter than the sun, lifting up with a love far more beautiful Than any moment, any touch, any glistening from a faraway knowing That this SON will forever be glowing with redemption For those who place their hope and faith in HIM, the SON who is forever Never a wounded whisper – always alive, always fulfilling The heart’s need for a brilliance that remembers To light up the life of those who listen to His still, small voice… The whisper of a miracle, His gift to those who simply listen for eternity With Him, the Son that always outshines the sun’s smiling – its beam Who tends to remember that it is only the wounded whisper… The beginnings of forever with the One who created its glistening.
