Piano Teacher Adored her timely teaching skills Adored the way she never yelled nor screamed! even when my Piano lesson bored the heck out of me and my fingers hurt badly you see we had no piano at home so after school, you could hear me tapping my recital tone in the house at the kitchen table My mother was like my music teacher at my recital time The same way as troubled dips masked in her love for she had scary protection for me! and some fear The faces that hide underneath the quiet storms of life and she caused me to repeat over and over again still water runs deep! But my thoughts at my age seven years old were foggy! Mom helped me with the complex work of my lessons and singing She bought me classics like Bach Faure classics Beethoven and all full Album Books no piano in the house my big recital was coming up in a month! The Auditorium would or could seat a lot more than fifty- Thousand to hear us! Philomoninic Piano Students Graduates hopefully have melodic tunes and we are featured in the Louisiana Weekly archives in the metro section of our newspaper! So I learned my Piano work from tapping at the kitchen counter table over and over again my finger relaxed I did that for a year so my fingers learned repetition! Now the night of my Piano Recital came to pass! My Gown was soft light orange but seemingly soft pink a flowing Gown fit to the floor for a seven-year-old child's taste, walked onto the stage straight to this expensive Grand Piano looked down upon the keys stared, and found middle C and I played that piano as skillful as a Seven-year-old that practice could express strong vibrant robust feelings! And added my own flavor to the last couple of notes Eased up from the Grand Piano and walked to the edge in the middle of the Auditorium stage and gracefully bowed to the crowd my male escort appeared behind the curtain, he had on a white shirt and black tuxedo and he was sharp The first time I noticed his skin tone he seem from another race but I smiled and we talked and walked off-stage to backstage. It was a Seven years old experience for me at the time my history This true history story written in my life journey walk alone but never! Ms. Mary my piano teacher cherished she helped me to have a beautiful story! She is now deceased !! love remembered! Thank you for letting me vent Bye bye!
