  I am paying tribute to Joe Bonamasso's song Mind's Eye
with my own inspired lyrics, this song is a jewel and Joe's haunting playing 
on his Gibson guitar is like a light gleaming in the darkness, an escape !

~ And my lyrics go like this ~

I am down down, plunging down
swirling in my pain, please hold my hand
before I fall, into the flames

time and space, is disappearing

Rescue,
me and the rain is falling
falling hard on a long winding forgotten dark street
and there is no time, no time to reach me

Reaching,
a hidden bar
like a ray of light in the darkness reaching out
for my bruised soul and my scarred heart

I hear a guitar riff

hold me close, comfort me guitar
before I fall, fall into the flames

plunging out of control fast, as time and space
disappear, and the guitar is shredding and draws me in

lingering in my brain, opening a door once closed
and I can see with my minds eye
