Joe Bonamassa sang many love songs
some with the touch of remorse like "Never say goodbye"
that inspired me to write the lyric
"Never let you go" as follows
           . . . .  . . . . . . . . .

And now many springs have passed me by
And now I’ve travelled far with my life
And I’ve seen everything that is to be seen
And for you I’ve an empty space in my mind

The storm’s blowing hard
I’m walking under the sky
I thought it’s not coming
Darling I was so wrong

I’ve hided the truth, your place I tried to show

And when another girl allures me

I think of the times I spent with you
Ponder how those moments vanished over the years
