Poem
Upon an old, majestic house, An eagle trapped, her spirit broken. With wings constrained, and softly spoken Words, she whispered, like a mouse “Tell my how the clouds feel Are they soft, or cold, or hard? As they dance in Sky's backyard?” Her gaze, cut like sharpened steel, With wings spread wide, she can be free Yet held by chains we cannot see, She had forgotten who she’d used to be "Break free," I cried, "and soar so high, To where the angels dare to fly, For in your eyes, I see the glow, Of boundless skies, where we shall go. "Rise up, great eagle, fly with me, Discover skies and oceans free— Together let us find a place Where love and freedom interlace." She shook her head with gentle grace, A sadness veiled upon her face. "Can't you see the chains that bind, My heart, by fear of heights, confined?” "I used to roam the endless sky, And watch the world so broad and wide, Yet now, to spread my wings and fly, I fear, dear friend, I am denied." "Stand up, dear angel of the sky, Don't let this fake fear hold you tight, Keep you from soaring far and wide, For love and freedom always lie. "Let Nature guide you, strong and true, Her voice, your compass, never swayed, Within your heart, a yearning burns, To find its way, to love unchained. "With you, I'll roam the boundless air, Our love, a beacon, shining bright, Together, we shall conquer fear, And rise to meet the endless light." And so, her spirit found new strength, Her wings unfurled, she took to flight, Together we soared, our hearts aflame, Embracing freedom, love, and light. Upon the skies, we wrote our tale, Two eagles' hearts, forever bound, For in our love, we set our sail, And in our freedom, we were found.
