Poem
This world is a terrifying place So many crimes That goes on As we go about our day We lay in sun as they lay in their grave No one deserves that fate The remorse comes about a little bit too late Tristyn Bailey killed in cold blood with nothing but need That night they lost their beautiful little girl to a boy who had greed We say today he hadn’t known Why sympathize with him When he knew full well Capable of stabbing her 114 times TereseAnn Morre Killed by her husband His statement stands This time remorse never came undone Protecting the children Oh what a blessing Causing them more than trauma Loosing their mother and their father No one deserves that fate Seeing the children was not the only motive So many more cases so why not share In time we learn that this world is not made of rainbows It suffocates you till you can’t handle it anymore. Lessons are something we need to learn As kids, we all had a spark But that spark is gone We try to hide behind the fear Not listening like nothing is here Nothing is going to happen they say Oh what a pity This world is becoming more and more like Venus each day Some filled with toxic gas Others have hidden water So far down not visible to the eye The few who are none live on their own planet Better than this one This world is a terrifying place So many crimes That go on As we go about our day We lay in sun as they lay in their grave No one deserves that fate The remorse comes about a little bit to late Tristyn Bailey killed in cold blood with nothing but need That night they lost their beautiful little girl to a boy who had greed We say today he hadn’t known Why sympathize with him When he knew full well Capable of stabbing her 114 times The remorse he gave was none TereseAnn Morre Killed by her husband His statement stands This time remorse never came undone Protecting the children Oh what a blessing No one deserves that fate In time we learn that this world is not made of rainbows It suffocates you till you can’t handle it anymore.
