LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY EYE-ENLIGHTENER
				
Lord God, You are my eye-Enlightener for my biblical posture
Thank You that You teach me virtuous gesture
With Your revelation through Your Scripture
Toward illumined faith-venture.

Lord God, You are my eye-Enlightener for my divine sight
Thank You that You guide me against carnal fright
With Your wisdom’s instructing might
Toward joyous trust-delight.

Lord God, You are my eye-Enlightener for my ministry-participation
Thank You that You direct me from selfish reaction
With Your enabling compassion
Toward glad fulfillment of Your great commission.

Lord God, You are my eye-Enlightener for my heavenly choice
Thank You that You want me to rejoice
With Your love against worldly noise
Toward peaceful servanthood poise.

Lord God, You are my eye-Enlightener for my vision to Your commandment
Thank You that You exhort me to abide in Your safe settlement
With Your assured satisfaction-contentment
Toward righteous exercise of firm commitment.

Lord God, You are my eye-Enlightener for my devoted prayerfulness
Thank You that You hear me as I call midst eagerness
With Your ready sanctification for my confessed sinfulness
Toward fruitful stewardship marked by faithfulness.

Lord God, You are my eye-Enlightener for my diligent continuing
Thank You that You push me against slothful sowing
With Your promises for blessings overflowing
Toward constant discipleship growing and glowing.
