Dolly Maintained her ravenous Appetite and gained weight. Damian kept the new refrigerator Stocked with fruits vegetables Exotic foods and other goodies. Two days had Slowly passed. Damian finally Assembled the crib. "Baby shower Time is upon us." She loved to see Damian happy. "It won't be much longer now." Damian raved about Damian Junior whenever the notion Struck him. "Baby Damian will soon be here." The baby shower was to take Place in two days. Even the Baby's room was ready. Molly Came to help applying a fresh Coat of paint to the walls. The shower was Finally happening. The large Apartment quickly became crowded. Damian Started the music. The food Was still coming in. guests Were still arriving. Molly was Baking barbecue chicken. Dolly was eating egg salad With fried chicken. She went To the kitchen to check Molly's Barbecue chicken. Damian Changed the music and asked "Delilah will you dance with me." She excepted his offer. They Danced Romantically. He Whispered,"Delilah I will keep You happy for eternity. That's my Heart's promise. I refuse to let Anybody interfere in our Relationship. OK? Don't take Any advice from anybody unless You Speak to me first." Gazing intensely into her eyes, "Listen, I love you and our baby. You hear me." NO turning back." "I'm playing for keeps. We have A good relationship and a good Home life. That's the way I want It. And that's the way you want It. Right? She looked up at him And nodded, "yes." Other than that she was Speechless. The song ended. He lead her to the couch he Sat first pulling her onto his Lap. He began comforting her By rubbing her 6 month old Pregnant belly. She felt safe And comfortable in his arms. She hoped the feeling would Last for lifetimes. Her head was Filled with all of the words He recited to her on the floor. Nothing else mattered except This man who took good care Of her. She thought to herself. "I'm trapped in a good life." "No way out." She was lost in Thought when mother Hakim And Molly came to check on Her. Molly Inquired, "How are You doing Dolly? Are you Feeling ok? Damian answered For her, "She's alright perfect And happy." He Held her Tighter. Dolly was dazed by His words he told her while They danced. Mother Hakim asked Are you hungry Delilah. "Yes". Was her weak reply. The older Woman hurried away Then returned with a full plate. " Here you are Dolly. Damian Let her sit at the table." Mrs. Hakim ordered. Damian Lead her to a small table in A corner. Dolly ate every bit On the plate. "Why do you Look so Glazed?" Molly Was concerned for her twin.
