Psalm 44:21 – (KJV) Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

Inside, where I hide
All my thoughts, my best and worst
Prayers are prayed, lifted
Into the realms of the heavens,
Where He lives forever, making a way
So that one day – 

Those things that I pray
Will become real, living on faith
I keep the secrets of my prayers, my praise
Within, where He sees me for me,
The woman who knows Him
As light and love, grace from above

Inside, where the secrets abide
Revealing the feelings, the believing,
Even in the darkness, so deceiving
There lives hope – there lives kindness
There lives the One who always finds me
Overjoyed to know Him as mine,
The secret of my entire life -  the meaning
Beneath every prayer, the miracle
So alive and so rare – He is the answer
That leaves me feeling so inspired, stirred
By the miracles that only He can rouse

Those things that I pray and say –
The faith that He gave me when He saved me,
That is the light that leads me to hope,
That is the wonder that gives me reason to ponder
The love that is His – love so pure, so big
It convicts me and it promises to always hear
When there is a fear or a tear, a need that only He
Can fulfill with His grace, His heavenly ways
Poured out on me, the woman at the foot of the cross…

Where all hope was lost only to be found…
When He came to life again – on the third day,
Making every heart say -  He is the only way
To find peace and grace, a second chance
The victory is there – all we need do is believe
And lift our hearts to Him – receive the victory
Salvation is the gift He brings to those who see

He is the way, the truth, the life –
He was the ultimate sacrifice
Because of Love – He lived and died,
Then came back so He might provide
The way to know, the way to grow…
With faith that silences all worry, all doubt –
Wiping away the tears and promising, 
Through the years – He will always be here,
Encouraging, strengthening, embracing – 

He is the secret living inside, the secret that provides eternal life!
I’ll always be thankful for the secret that brings peace
Beyond stillness, beyond serene -  peace like this is a heavenly thing!
He is the secret that brings me through everything I face…
Because I know HIM, there is a sweetness in every day, a grace
That makes a way, a second chance to pray – and praise!
He is the secret that I value most – and I’ll not leave Him a secret
I’ll tell the whole world – He is the love that lives forevermore!
