Hey you out there 
Life hasn't been fair
I see you,
This is something true
On that street corner you stand
Need a hand
 This corner is important at this point of time in your life.
So much strife
Do you keep going forward
Ever towards
The same place
Discouragement written on your face
, continuing your life as you have been
Not happy since you don't know when
Doing just what it takes to get by.
Why
Do you even feel like going on?
Is hope gone
Feel like sitting on that curb and say I can't go on no more
Can't get up from the floor
can't face this life
Face this strife
Sitting on that same old curb side
Kinda hurts the pride
you are afraid to go forward
Towards
 So you do nothing and go no where
Do you even care
But you are not safe at all
Your call
You soon lose yourself in nothingness
Using drugs thinking this is bliss
Afraid to try?
Rather die
Wanna cry
that means you have quit. Life has won.
Your done
Now why you sit there
Thinking how unfair, 
a moment to think,, on
which way should you go?
Don't know
There is the easy way.
As you do this day
pushing forward grabbing what you can 
Being the man
Parties, women, drugs. 
You just shrug
Most times your in jail
Can't afford bail
more than living free
Getting old you may never see
A chance to die young
some think that life is
great.
Lost in hate
alone most of the time
Crime
going nowhere. 
Still dont care
You might as well stayed on your curbside
Trying to hide
 you travel far, see a few things.
Short term happiness that brings
 But you always end up back on that curbside
Done lost your pride
Same corner in life where you started .
Never parted
which way do you go
This is all you know
There drops a tear
How did you end up back here.
You can continue down the same path as before
Still on the floor
Forward side ways,
It never pays
 you always end up back on your corner curb side
Locked inside
Either way your back where you started.
Dearly departed
 I have been here a few times before
There is a new door
Now look at this other way
A new day
It may not be that easy on you
So true
 but try this new path way 
Just have to pray
But with Jesus ss your guide.
Him on your side
While on this road
While carrying your load
 weakness of your will
Give you your fill
 you need is to borrow his strength. when life gets you down
Feel your gonna drown, the Lord God will help you
I speak 
thoughts get unsettled, doubt enters the mind
Leave them behind
He will ease the muddy waters of your thought
Lessons tought
when you get wishing for things you want,
Their vision does haunt
he teaches you to be thankful for what you got
Desire starts to rot
when you get mad
Sad
Even glad
 think on God, think
Let this sink
calm you and gives you peace of mind
Won't leave you behind
When you feel all alone.
No love shown
know that God is at your side
No reason to hide
.He understands your pain
Cleans your stain
So as you are standing there on this cornerside  
This pain you hide
trying to make up your mind.
What do you find
Do you sit there 
Never to care
Or do you dare
on your corner you make a never ending loop 
Or regroup
do you join with him, let him be your guide.
Him on your side
I found, from my own corner of time
This rhyme 
.God is the only way
These words I say
Just have to pray
Let him heal your wounds and guide you down a path of of truth.
Doesn't take a sleuth 
The truth to see  
Love lifted me
