From the mind of madness
I am able to write words with such sadness
Slipping into that dark pool
Emotions are just a tool
Embracing this dark tide
Sometimes taking me on such a ride
Yonder
I ponder
While sitting beneath a tree
Thinking on all that I see
The darker side of life , smites me
a darker shade of gray
Darker in every way
When your just a shade ,  beyond the grave
So hard to wave
Melancholy 
Dried up holly
The lack of jolly
A writers best friend
The places it will send
Lost in your mind
Words to find
Explaining , with words , the sad
Of a good man , feeling bad
Deeper and deeper I sink
Madness on the brink
Just to think
Lost on the river of blue
On its knowledge I drew
It's pain I already knew
Seeking the right word
Just waiting to be heard
Making it real
And the reader feel
What you have to say
In an emotional way
